Julie Bentsen is a poet and surrealist illustrator from Staten Island. As a poet she enjoys performing critiques of corporate dehumanization. Her work focuses on dreams, nightmares, and automated phone menus. As a visual artist she enjoys creating live pen & ink sketches to live poetry, and has done so at events with 3Po3try NYC, Deep Tanks Studios, Post:blank magazine, NYSAI magazine, Halls of Expression, and Lumen. She has also illustrated the chapbook covers of several Staten Island poets, including MA Dennis, Thomas Fucaloro, Maverick Walker, and Vince Vok.

Gia Grillo is a carbon-based sex-machine making her way in the world today, giving everything she’s got. She has helped run workshops for students, hosted and participated in community workshops and open mics, all focusing on poetry as a cathartic and accessible art form. She has been published in Outlook Springs, Virga Magazine, and as part of the Red Wheelbarrow Poet’s anthology. Her first chapbook The Moon Poems was published was Ethel Zine in 2019.
